When a scan has been finished and all data has been appropriately saved, sent, or deleted...

To Leave the System on Standby:

Left without activity, the scanner automatically initiates standby-sleep mode.

--This is used during the day, when no other operators will be scanning

To Log off the System:

Click "System" from the top menu and select "End." From the options, select "logoff" to allow a new operator.

--This is used during the day when a different operator may scan next

To Shut Down the System:

Click "System" from the top menu and select "End." From the options, select "shut down all" to shut down the host computer. Once the screen indicates to do so, press the "System Off" button on the conrol box (pictured here).

--This is used only if you are the last operator of the day..
